Palm Oil (CPO & RBD Palm Oil)
Industrial-Scale Versatile Lipid Feedstock for Food Processing & Technical Manufacturing
Palm oil derived from the mesocarp of the oil palm fruit is the world's most land-efficient and widely traded vegetable oil. We coordinate procurement and export for both industrial Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and fully refined RBD Palm Oil for global processing plants.

About Palm Oil (CPO & RBD Palm Oil)
Palm oil contains a naturally balanced fatty acid profile comprising approximately 50% saturated fatty acids (predominantly palmitic acid) and 50% unsaturated fatty acids (oleic and linoleic acids). This unique structural equilibrium gives palm oil its semi-solid consistency at room temperature without requiring chemical hydrogenation. Crude Palm Oil (CPO) serves as the foundational feedstock for refining complexes, while Refined, Bleached, and Deodorized (RBD) Palm Oil is employed extensively across commercial baking, biscuit cream formulation, confectionery fillings, margarine production, and industrial oleochemical synthesis.
Key Quality Highlights & Characteristics:
Procurement SummaryBulk Palm Lipids
Available Product Grades
Tailored to meet regional climate expectations, food industry melting targets, or industrial processing thresholds.
RBD Palm Oil (Fully Refined)
Neutral taste, odorless, light yellow solid at ambient temperature. Ready for direct industrial food manufacturing, biscuit fats, condensed milk recombining, and commercial shortening.
Crude Palm Oil (CPO)
Unrefined, carotenoid-rich reddish oil direct from milling operations, supplied for regional refineries, industrial biofuel manufacturing, or non-food technical processing.

Commercial Applications
Bakery Fats & Commercial Shortenings
Provides smooth crystal structure, aeration capability, and tenderness to pastries, crackers, biscuits, and pie crusts without artificial hydrogenated trans fats.
Margarine & Fat Spreads
Serves as the structural lipid matrix providing spreadability at ambient temperatures and smooth mouthmelt characteristics.
Confectionery & Chocolate Fillings
Formulated into specialty compound coatings, praline pastes, and biscuit creams offering clean snap and rapid heat transfer.
Dairy Fat Substitutes & Ice Cream
Recombined milk, non-dairy creamers, and frozen dessert manufacturing where structured vegetable fat replaces dairy fat efficiently.
Oleochemical & Technical Derivatives
Base lipid for splitting into fatty acids, glycerin, methyl esters, soap noodles, and personal care base ingredients.
Export Packaging Formats
Flexitanks (with optional heating pads)
21,000 to 23,000 kg per 20' Dry ContainerRefined bulk oil transport where receiving facilities have heating and pump-out capabilities.
Steel Drums (Tight Head)
190–200 kg net weightIndustrial processing plants requiring drum decanting or storage without dedicated bulk storage tanks.
Bag-in-Box / Carton Blocks
15 kg, 20 kg, 25 kg solid carton blocks with poly linerBakery operations wanting ready-to-weigh solid shortening blocks for immediate dough batching.
Chartered Tanker Parcels
1,000 to 5,000+ Metric Tons in bulk vessel tanksDeep-sea commodity traders, major destination refiners, and international port terminal operators.
Shipment & Transit Considerations
- Handling Characteristics: Because RBD Palm Oil crystallizes at ambient temperatures below ~33°C, bulk flexitank discharge requires destination steam-heating pads or warm room conditioning prior to pumping.
- Minimum Order Quantity: 1 x 20' FCL (approx. 20–22 MT) for containerized cargo; parcel sizes for bulk vessels negotiated on contract.
- Ports of Origin: Port Klang, Pasir Gudang, Kuantan, and Penang terminals.
- Transit Documentation: SGS/Intertek inspection reports confirming weight, temperature, and loading analysis.
Export Quality & Shipping Dossier
- Refinery Certificate of Quality and Conformity
- SGS or accredited surveyor loading inspection report
- International Clean Ocean Bill of Lading
- Certificate of Origin from authorized Malaysian chambers
- Export clearance declarations through Royal Malaysian Customs Department
- Halal certification dossier
Frequently Asked Questions: Palm Oil (CPO & RBD Palm Oil)
Is RBD Palm Oil solid or liquid during shipment?
RBD Palm Oil has a melting point of 33°C to 39°C. In temperate or air-conditioned shipping climates, it solidifies into a soft white/ivory paste. In tropical waters, it may remain semi-liquid. Bulk flexitanks can be fitted with integrated thermal heating pads for easy steam or hot water liquification at the discharge port.
Does your supply chain provide non-hydrogenated palm fat?
Yes. Palm oil does not undergo partial hydrogenation during physical refining, making it inherently free from artificial trans-fatty acids while preserving its solid texture naturally.
